Dear Beloved
I greet you in the wonderful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We trust that you are well, as we come to the closing chapter of 2023.
David had a brilliant way of describing God’s family when he says in Psalm 133:1
“Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.”
He says it is like being covered with anointing oil, and then he says that where unity is evident, God commands His blessing. (vs 2-3)
What an amazing year of commanded blessings we have had. Almost everyone finds themselves at the same place, where we say: “I can’t believe that this year has flown by so quickly.” Just imagine, everyone started this year with a huge bang and with the theme “Living Well and Loving Well” and before we knew it, we have lived well and we have loved well.
I have seen members love well by caring well for one another. I have seen how CFC has made an impact in so many different areas of our society. It has truly been a year where people have dwelt in unity and where people have come together to love and live well. Coming back to what David said, it is in a place like this, friends, where God commands His blessing!!
I can honestly say that this year was characterised by many people taking up the challenge of living their best lives and loving in the best way possible. We can just stand in awe and say that God has helped us to do what we set out to do at the beginning of this year.

We have had a year with so many topics that are applicable to our daily lives, and so many people have matured spiritually beyond their wildest imagination. Many were equipped and others were doing great exploits for God whilst at the same time they kept on loving one another and caring for each other. Every person in CFC has a story to tell and many have testimonies to share. All in all, dear friends, this year has been an amazing year that testifies to God’s goodness and faithfulness towards us. Thank you to each and every person who has lived well and who has loved well! By this the world will know that we are the children of God.
With 2024 in mind, our theme for the year will be “Greater Things are Yet to Come” and I want to take this opportunity to ask each and every person reading this letter to prepare yourself for the year 2024, trusting God for great breakthroughs in your life and in your walk with God. Trust God to take you to a new level of experiencing Him and understanding His Kingdom, and to be better and more equipped than ever. I believe with all my heart that God is preparing us for a new movement of His Spirit that will impact more people in Windhoek and in our nation than ever before.
From all of us here on the CFC staff, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your amazing support and love toward us during this year. We do not have enough words to ever express our gratitude and appreciation for everything you have done for us during this year.
We wish you and your family a wonderful festive season and we pray for your safe travels wherever you go. Enjoy your holidays and may you rest well. May God bless you with His amazing presence and goodness.
We love you dearly.
Kind regards
– Ps Roland, Denise and the CFC Staff
