Trusting My Father

Good morning CFC Family

First of all, Happy Father’s Day to all our dads. May you be highly favoured today and may all of you be sincerely appreciated. My prayer for all our dads is that God would teach each one of us to become even more and more like Him; a brilliant and loving Father in every aspect of the word.
We celebrate you! Happy Father’s Day!

I would like to encourage all of you today with a few scriptures.

Remember how as kids our fathers would put us up on an object or a table and then say to us, “JUMP!”
At first, we had so many questions:
Will he catch me?
What if I jump short?
What if he drops me?
…Well, eventually we jumped and oh the relief.
He caught me!

Well, friends to jump like that was nothing less than pure trust in your father.
Even today, if your earthly father could say to you and me … JUMP!!! We might even consider it again, because HE NEVER DROPPED ME.
Today God says to you and me, “TRUST ME!
I will NEVER DROP YOU!”

Here are a few verses to encourage you today in the challenging times we’re in.

1. Psalm 25:2 O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.

2. Psalm 31:14 But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.

3. Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you

My dearly beloved, let’s not stop trusting God.
For many of us He is saying today: “Jump… I’ll catch you.”
And for some of us, He’s saying: “I know you’re afraid but I have you in My sights, I will not disappoint you because you have put your trust in Me”
For many who have no answers and who are confused, He is saying:
“Jump and TRUST ME!!! I have everything under control in your life.”
TRUST ME!!!!!

Friends trusting God is knowing He is RELIABLE and that we have nothing to lose, because He is always ready to catch us no matter what!
